Villerville and around
A seaside village between Trouville and Honfleur. The beach is a 10-minute walk from the villa, Deauville a 12-minute drive.

A village, not a resort
Deauville has its boardwalk, Honfleur its Old Harbour. Villerville, between the two, is still a village: steep lanes, Belle Époque villas clinging to the cliff, the church in the middle and the sea at the end of the streets.
Henri Verneuil filmed Un singe en hiver here in 1962, with Jean Gabin and Jean-Paul Belmondo. The village has a few shops for everyday needs and terraces facing the sea. In summer, when Deauville is packed, Villerville stays quiet.
